Investigating the Role of Quality Management and Maintenance of Medical Equipment in Improving the Performance of Hospitals

In recent years, the medical sector has focused on improving the quality of services. Increasing the quality and satisfaction of clients, patients and personnel is one of the ultimate goals of a hospital. Hospitals use different factors to improve their performance. One of the most important factors in achieving this goal is quality management and maintenance of medical equipment. Applying these principles increases the efficiency and correct evaluation of the hospital. This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of quality management and maintenance of medical equipment in improving the performance of hospitals. Examining the factors related to the performance of hospitals shows that paying attention to quality principles and checking and maintaining equipment can lead to better performance in the hospital and increase the performance of personnel and increase the satisfaction of clients and patients. Optimal management of medical equipment in hospitals has a great impact on reducing costs and providing optimal health care services. Management of medical equipment is of special importance and if it is not observed, hospitals will face serious challenges. The results of this study indicate that quality management and maintenance of medical equipment can play a valuable role in improving the performance of hospitals.
