A rapid increase in the number of bacteria that have developed resistance to antibiotics forced researchers to investigate novel approaches within the field of drug delivery systems. A good example is to use of diverse nanostructures such as biological ones, which has provided a well-defined drug delivery system pathway for researchers. This study selected the ovalbumin protein as a potential drug delivery option and examined its connection with streptomycin, an antibiotic that has developed resistance. The results of this in silico finding suggest its potential as an appropriate option for drug design and delivery purposes.
