In this study, poly(AAm-co-RH6G) and p(AAm-co-COUM) as co-monomer was synthesized in two steps. Metal ion Fe3+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Cd2+, Co2+, and Pb2+ selectivity of RH6G and coumarin was investigated by fluorescence spectrophotometry. The rhodamine 6G molecules have displayed highly intense fluorescent emission and coloration characteristics that are usable in sensing applications.
