Studying Rheology of the FENE-P Chains Using a Micro-Macro Approach

FENE-P chains, as a representative molecular model, has been used in considering time-dependent rheology of viscoelastic fluids in simple shear flow. This has been accomplished utilizing a CONNFFESSIT-like methodology. Initially, the accuracy of the approach was verified and then, the underlying microstructural changes were explored in connection with the relevant rheological material functions.
