    Optimization of carbon nanostructures on the electrical resistance of polyester fabric

    Raw and alkali pre-treated polyester fabric were applied with two different sonicated solutions of carbon nano structures including nano carbon black and multi wall carbon nanotube along with nano TiO2 via impregnationdry-cure method using citric acid as a cross-linking agent. Electrical resistivity of the treated polyester fabrics was investigated via D-optimal for variables based on design of expert software indicated significant reduced in electrical resistance of the fabric from 109 to 104 Ω/square due to carbon nanostructures loading. The presence of nano TiO2 and carbon nano structures on the treated fabric surface was demonstrated via SEM images, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The optimum treatment conditions were introduced for electrical resistivity on the PET fabric.
