THE USE OF DIFFERENTIAL TRANSFORM METHOD TO SOLVE LINEAR OPTIMAL CONTROL SYSTEMS

In this paper, an analytical approximation of the solution of optimal control of linear systems, which have a quadratic performance index, is investigated using the differential transform method (DTM). Applying the DTM, the linear systems, derived from the Pontryagins maximum principle, are transformed into a sequence of linear time-invariant TPBVPs.
