DEFINING SETS IN LATIN SQUARES AND STEINER TRIPLE SYSTEMS COLORING

Latin square graphs were first introduced by R. C. Bose a long time ago. He studied them as strongly regular graphs. But the coloring of these graphs is not explored. On the other hand the coloring of Steiner triple systems, STS(v), is studied extensively. Here we show some relations between coloring of Latin squeares and other concepts. We introduce the concept of defining sets for this coloring and for the coloring of STS(v)s.
