The effect of coating on the acoustical property of coated fabric

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of the fiber coating on the sound insulating property of different woven fabrics. The sound absorption mechanism of coated woven fabric has also been discussed in detail. The SEM image analysis has also been done to determine the reason of sound insulting property of the coated fabric. The sound reverberation method was used to determine acoustical behavior of these coated fabrics. The sound insulation properties were analyzed over a wide range of frequency band. The minimum and maximum sound insulating index has also been discussed over a wide range of frequency.
