ESTIMATING OF RETURNS TO SCALE BY USING A NON-RADIAL MODEL IN DATA ENVELOPMENT ANALYSIS

Estimating of returns to scale via slacks-based measure of efficiency (SBM) is discussed in this paper. Return to scale is related important economic implication of DEA efficiencies. SBM model has been introduced by Ton et al to determine efficiency of decision making units (DMU). In this paper, we discuss the returns to scale issues based on the SBM.
