AN APPLICATION OF SEPARABLE MEASURE ALGEBRAS TO POSITIVE OPERATORS

In this paper, we use the properties of separable measure algebras to establish positive operators that possess no invariant ideals. We also construct non-separable measure algebras with no atoms to discuss further questions concerning the existence of such positive operators.
