Application of poly(diethyl- amino – ethyl) polymeric adsorbent for reactive dye removal of the industrial wastewaters

In the present research, dye removal of colored wastewaters using a new polymeric adsorbent (poly(diethyl- amino – ethyl)) was evaluated and influence of the key operator parameters such as contact time, agitation speed, adsorbent dosage, initial dye concentration and pH was studied in a batch system. The results were analyzed by Langmuir, Freundlich and Tempkin equilibrium models. Adsorption data were attempted by pseudo-first-order and pseudo-secondorder kinetics and the results were found to conform well to the pseudo-second order kinetics model.
