Design of Low-Power CMOS Operational Amplifiers Using Geometric Programming

In this paper, Geometric Programming (GP) is used, in order to minimize the power consumption and to optimal design of Low-Power Operational Amplifiers (OP-AMP). The proposed design algorithm is implemented in MATLAB and the Circuit simulations are done in SPICE using CMOS technology parameters. As simulation results show, the proposed algorithm has a very good accuracy and the circuit simulation results in SPICE are closed to the MATLAB calculations.
