An Existence Result for the Equilibrium Problem via Approximate Sign Property

We study a general equilibrium problem in metric linear topological spaces. Using the concept of approximate upper sign property, we establish sufficient conditions under which the solution set of the submonotone equilibrium problem is nonempty.
