The Nonlinear optical rectification (OR) coefficient in an asymmetric Lens-Shaped Quantum Dot (LQD) are numerically investigated in the presence of a hydrogenic impurity. The compact density matrix approach and iterative method are used. The effect of the size of LQD, incident photon energy and asymmetry of QD on the OR coefficient are investigated. It is found that size, asymmetry of QD and incident photon energy have a great influence on the OR coefficient.
