Abstract
As Tabarî is a historian and glossator, he is a canonist at the same time. Despite Tabarî‟s tafseer is a riwaya tafseer, it conteins fıqhi (juridical) topics. His tafseer is not fıqhî tafseer, but in this tafseer sets out provisions based on verses. He simetime conveys opinions about topics that was handled, then he sets out his choise about this topics. Also he sametimes criticizes fıkqi opinions, then refers to his opinion. The subject of study in the article is Tabarî s method about topic of the fıqh
