Abstract
Problematic internet use among adolescents was examined in terms of time spent on the internet, life satisfaction and locus of control among adolescents in this study. Participants of the study consisted of 119 students attending formal high schools. Data was collected via Problematic Internet Use Scale, Life Satisfaction Scale, Locus of Control Scale and Personal Information Form. Results of the Hierarchical Regression Analysis revealed that time spent on the internet, life satisfaction and locus of control were significant predictors of problematic internet use among adolescents.
