Abstract
The purpose of the study was to examine students’ perceptions on linear and constant function with their graphical representation. 130 students in grade 10 from an industrial vocational high school participated in the study. Data were collected via a real-life problem and interview. Qualitative methods were used for analyzing the data. The results indicated that students had some basic difficulties about the concept of functions, ordered pairs, linear and constant functions, and their graphical representations.
