Developing of Evaluation Form for High School History Textbooks

Abstract
The aim of this study is to develop an evaluation form for high school history textbooks. For this purpose, related literature was scanned and a 58 item pool was created. So as to be able to determine the content validity of the evaluation form, 7 items were taken out of the item pool as a consequence of received expert opinions. Sample group is composed of 341 students for first application, 99 high school students for second. In order to assess the reliability of the evaluation form; level of internal consistency and determination level were calculated. As a result, high school history textbooks evaluation form that can serve this purpose can be said to be a valid and reliable tool.
