Abstract
The purpose of this research is to develop an attitude scale for Individual Voice Training Course for the purpose of being used as a tool to measure effective attitudes on students’ success in education. In the research Likert type attitude scale was taken as a model. Developed on the strength of the views of the experts and consisting of 48 items, this scale in its latest version was administered to 271 students who get music education in the Education Faculties of Dokuz Eylül University, Pamukkale University and Uludağ University. The obtained data were put into item analysis by using SPSS 12.0 packet program. The Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient of the scale is α= 0.95. The attitude scale developed through this research is expected to be of great value to the teachers concerned, researchers and prospective music teachers.
