Abstract
The struggle for protection from diseases and their causes, healthy life and keep health has been one of the basic efforts of humanbeings throughout the history. The treatment, hearth which one of the most important things being brought from Middle Asia by Turkish culture, has come out as a result of this struggle and has maintained its existence and function. In the treatment hearth lots of applications related to old Turkish belief system exist.In the treatment, hearth which have important function in the cure of diseases, the materials used carry traces of old Turkish belief system. This study shows the materials preferred and used in the treatment, hearth the relation of these materials with the old Turkish belief system and the examples about the applications.
