Abstract
Before the Turkish conquest of Anatolia, Armenians lived as subjects of the states which dominated the lands they lived. Amongst these states, especially Byzantine Empire carried on a suppression policy towards the Gregorian Armenians. Annenians, who experienced administrative perception of Europeans with the states that they founded after the Crusade they have started on 1096, reflected their opinions about the Turks who became sovereign in Anatolia during the middle of the 11th century. In this article we will assess the records about Seljuk Sultans in the Medieval Armenian historiographers works.
