Abstract
Sociology in Russia is an outcome of following European scholars thought tendencies. Russian Sociology passed through beginning, silence and last 20 years renaissance periods. Today Russian sociologists discuss Sociology s prestige and currency in Russia as evaluating the level of teaching Sociology. Russian institutions where undergraduate Sociology programs are available, suddenly multiplied in the last years. Most of these institutions are providing training based on state s common Sociology teaching program.
