Abstract
The subject of this article is Gâmizi’l Acaib, the most important book written by the Sheikh of Ahıscanian Bektashian Hırmen–dâr Gâmizi Ali Baba who lived in the second half of XVIII century. Beside this book, Gâmizi Ali Baba has other three important works named Ceride-i Gavamiz, Tercüman-name, and Münsheat. Mysterious Truths can be given as a modern name to Gâmizi’l-Acaib. Gâmizi Ali Baba tried to explain those truths that seem so difficult to be figured out, with a surrealistic perspective in his work. The purpose of this article is, being able to comprehend the meaning of Gâmizi Ali Baba’s perspectives or his symbolic fields. By doing this, different viewpoints of his all works can be understood. Gâmizi’l-Acâib can be evaluated as a prosaic shathiya. It includes twelve chapters. There are no definite and permanent relationships among the chapters. When the book is examined generally, at the point of understanding the truth, being praised the saints or ehlullah, and being satirized crude pious can be seen. Additionally, the struggles between soul and selfishness/nafs; the thirds, sevens and twelve sinless constitutes the other topics of the book.
