Abstract
The research was carried out to determination the suitable nitrogen doses (nonfertilizer: 0 and as pure: 15, 30, 45, 60 and 75 kg ha^-1) and investigate the effects of nitrogen on yield and quality of buckwheat in Isparta during 2014. The longest plant height (77.0 cm), the highest grain yield (1254 kg ha^-1) and biological yield (4313 kg ha^-1) of buckwheat were obtained from 75 kg ha^-1 N doses, while the highest 1000 grain weight (24.2 g), agronomic efficiency (11.91), recycling efficiency (67.74) and utilizing efficiency (50.58) from 60 kg ha^-1 N doses. The highest physiological efficiency (0.76) was determined in 45 kg ha^-1 N dose and the highest agro-physiological efficiency (0.26) from 15 kg ha^-1 N dose. Mineral nutrient content of buckwheat was increased depending on increasing N doses, and the highest N (1.95%), P (0.216%), K (0.243%), Mg (0.131%), Cu (4.53 ppm), Zn (18.59 ppm), Fe (3.7 ppm) and Mn contents (3.00 ppm) were determined by 75 kg ha^-1 N treatment. 60 and 75 kg ha^-1 N doses were statistically the same significance in point of mineral nutrient content (expect for Fe) of buckwheat.
