    Determination of Fruit Characteristics of Some Late‐Season Local Pear (Pyrus communis L.) Genotypes Grown in Eğirdir (Isparta) Ecological Conditions

  • Abstract
    This study was conducted out Egirdir/Isparta in 2014. In this research,some fruit characteristics were determined of 18 late‐season local pear genotypesand a standart pear cultivar in the Genetic Resources section of Egirdir FruitResearch Institute. In this study, the results were determined as; for fruit weightbetween 22,04 to 373,97g, fruit length 30,55 to 141,27 mm, fruit width 35,02 to87,33 mm fruit firmness 9,92 to 12,92 kg, soluble solid content %12,25 to19,25and titratable acidity %0.20 to 0.65. The obtained findings elucidate on futurestudies in the pear genetic resources breeding.
