Determination Both the Living Standards and Socio-Economic Factors Affecting the Living Standards of the Erzurum Region s Farmers’ Families

The aims of this study are to introduce living standards of people in Erzurum province, find out major socioeconomic factors that have impact on those living standards. Data collected through survey has been assessed in this study conducted to find out living conditions of people in Erzurum district, and to determine socio-economic factors that have impact on those living standards. According to X^2 (Chi-Square) analysis based upon firm group dispersion of living standards, there exists dependence between living standards and geographical position of firms, profession experience of entrepreneurs, education level of entrepreneurs, land entity of firms, implementation level and adapting of developed agricultural technologies, cooperation desire level, and modernization level.
