Abstract
The subject of this work is the Kyrgyz Turks who emigrated as agricultural migrants from Pamir Plateau in Northern Afghanistan to Ulupınar Village of Erciş-Van, pursuant to Law No. 2941 in 1982. In the study, 30 years old and above persons (30-50 y.o. / above 50), who were born in Pamir from those migrant families, are aimed to clarify their life and work areas, economic assets, sense of belonging and sectarian affiliations (theological and practical sects) in Pamir. It will be looked at that how families preserved their entities in the nomadic life conditions of the remote areas, and in the end an analysis has been done in the context of pastoral community characteristics in rural area.
