NEF‛Î’S EFFECT IN SEVENTEETH CENTURY DIVANS

Nef’î lived in 17th Century and he influenced on many other poets in both own century and other centuries. “Especially, in ode vale, Nef’î is master for all poets that came after him. The poets which lived after Nef’î, they either imitate from him or they appreciated his master (Akkuş 1991:30). Nef’î was effected on other poets when he still was alive and poets that have Divan showed his influence writing satires and to remember of his name. This article occur as a result of master thesis study. In this study, the divan which was written on 17th Centuries were examined and couplets that includes Nef’î names were detected. As a result the influence of Nef’î in 17th Century divan literatüre was brought out.
