Abstract
Main purpose of this study is to compare IQ scores of gifted students in terms gender. Sample of the study included 482 gifted students (205 girls and 277 boys) who took courses from Malatya Science and Art Center in 2005-2013. For collecting data from the participants WISC-R test and Demographic Information Form were utilized. The data was analyzed by using Mann-Whitney U test for three different dependent variables across one independent variable (gender) for each year. The results showed that there was no statistically significant difference in verbal, performance and general scores of the participants in terms of gender.
