The purpose of this study is to examine the view of city and urbanization of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk by sample of Capital Ankara. Starting point of the investigation is being considered to be an appropriate basis the city and urbanization for development of Anatolian by Atatürk. In this context, the examination of city and urbanization is done within descriptive framework of writing with regard to Atatürk and urbanization phenomena. Urbanization is expression of an change and dynamism in economic, social and cultural structure. Policy of urbanization aimed by the modern Turkish state are essentially the same idea. Cities will be established; accelerated all kinds of social action and modernization objective caught. Atatürk, wanted to have an identity to represent the new Republic as the contemporary capital of Ankara. Reconstruction of the capital will be measure of modernity of the Republic of Turkey. Unfortunately, this task for Ankara has been a difficult task to carry for unable to absorb change as time goes on; all the country s political, economic and social life is also influenced by it positive and negative sense.
