Abstract
Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) israre. CVST can affect more young women thancommon. Due to the variety of clinical signs,symptoms are difficult to diagnose. Headache,focal deficits, seizures and coma are commonfindings. The most common symptom is a severeheadache. CVST results are variable fromhealed to death. Early diagnosis and treatmentis very important for reducing mortality, morbidity.A previously healthy 31 years old femalepatient using of oral contraceptives, brought tothe emergency department with complaintsof seizures diagnosed CVST complicated withhemorrhagic infarct. In this case we aimed toemergency physicians raise awareness.
