    THE ACADEMIC PROCRASTINATION PERCEPTIONS OF THE STUDENTS OF ÇANAKKALE VOCATIONAL COLLEGE

  • Abstract
    The purpose of this study is to reveal the prevalence of academic procrastination behaviours, demographic characteristics and the relations toward their individual preferences of the students of the Department of Economic and Administrative Programs of Canakkale Vocational College. A total of 496 undergraduate students who study in Economic and Administrative Programs of Canakkale Vocational College have participated in this survey. In this survey, the questionnaire of Aitken Delay Tendency improved by Balkis (2006) and adapted into Turkish has been carried out. The data obtained have been analysed through the Statistical Packet for Social Sciences (SPSS) 15.0 packet program. The findings obtained and surveys implemented previously have been compared, discussed and some suggestion have been set forth.
