GENERALLY AFFECTING PROBLEMS OF HOTEL ENTERPRISES: AN APPLICATION TOWARDS HOTEL ENTERPRISES IN EAST ANATOLIA

Although hotel enterprises were managed by modern enterprise rules in basicly, It own features of the sector makes different qualities gain the hotel enterprising. Firstly, because service based on human particulary is emphasised work intensity has faced to us as the most important features of hotel enterprises. Besides, the differences about production and selling and marketing also make hotel enterprises different from the other enterprises. In this respect, another important matter which should be emphasised is that the sector is in a competition in global scale. It is seen that sector face to face various responsibilities in a dimensions of global, regional and local as well as the differences which make it different from the others. In this study, we examined local and regional dimensional problems of hotel enterprises. In the study, the problems of hotels in East Anatolia Region were investigated, and the ideas and feeling of hotel managers about mentioned problems were revealed. In the result of the study, the problems of 3, 4, 5 stared hotel enterprises in East Anatolia were discussed, and various suggestions have been put forward in order to cope with mentioned problems.
