Abstract
In the neo-liberal economies, the biggest profits are not in the industry but obtained from services, information - processing and financial sectors. In the 1980s when globalization reflected dominion in business, as the banks and investment approach to this sector of collectors, art as a commodity product is strengthened to gain dimension. Mutual influence is clearly seen in the process, underlining that the identity of the art market trader helped interesting personalities to come to the forefront. Damien Hirst, had the aura by the sponsors, detect money where to meet the art, and he becomes one of the traders who managed to play a game of investing. The reasons of risky fluctuations in the art market that Hirst causes put forward a contradiction on the real value of art work.
