Abstract
Marshall s Italian followers have oriented the focus point from the agglomeration of small firms to the saturation of the community and the interconnected firms with a broader perspective; therefore strengthened the non-economic socio-regional dimension of the industrial district concept. Dei Ottati states that cooperation is a vital condition for the success of districts. The aim of this study is to investigate the cooperation, which is an inherent component of industrial district definition, within the new industrial district contextual frame. System of values, human capital, reciprocal cooperation tradition, trust as a collective and personal capital, resources of change, creativeness and innovation, competition and cooperation are also examined in the study.
