Abstract
Quality management systems (QMS) have adopted the principle of continuous improvement. For making continuous improvement, the importance of processes and therefore the whole organization performance assessment and performance management become significant. Performance can be assessed by measuring various layers down to the details of the overall organization with performance management. In this regard, organization is focused on success. Performance management is important in all organizations because organizations are managed with scarce resources. Effective and efficient use of scarce resources provides the good organization management. For management measure; for measure shareholder, expectations, strategies, targets, processes and work steps should be identified. This could be called the beginning of the process definition organizational learning. In İstanbul University Open and Distance Education Faculty (IUAUZEF) work details are descriped with work analysis. With Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI) of work analysis, processes and whole AUZEF’s performance assessment system is established. This system at the same time is designed as a part of organizational learning. In this study, Founded in 2013, monitored for three years and part of organizational learning, KPI system design and applications are presented.
