Abstract
With the increase of population and industry, the necessity to energy is rising day by day. Search for renewable energy sources is increasing with the consumption of energy resources. The field of use of the geothermal energy is has risen up in Afyonkarahisar Province which has rich geothermal energy potential that can be considered among recent alternative energy resources.Once used in spa-baths, geothermal energy is recently used in thermal tourism, central heating and green houses. However it is observed that the use of geothermal energy gives damages to environment with an inclining rate everyday.
