Abstract
Natural and human factors that interact intensively and conditions caused by today s complex systems, examining the relationship of these elements plays an important role in solving the many problems and provide data available. The relationship between Therefore, in this study the Marmara region to the east of Sapanca Lake shores and the nearby geomorphological unit with space-shore use elements of geographical perspectives, methods and studied with GIS techniques. Mountainous areas that form the geomorphological units in the study area in the survey results, plateau area, plains and alluvial areas, valleys and alluvial fans, reedy marsh areas; residential areas, agricultural areas, forests, heathland and grassland areas such as bush-interactions have been observed if the space unit. Geomorphological units in the study area have been exposed to intensive human use in some areas, a part of some protected areas, and some areas have benefited from the wrong place. Some of the elements of space use is concentrated in specific morphological units, some areas have also been observed in several geomorphological units. It stated that the situation has affected the natural environment, especially in Sapanca Lake and the problems occurred.
