Abstract
The purpose of this study, Adiyaman in geography teaching is to investigate the effects of the methods and techniques of teaching geography. Adiyaman research was conducted with data obtained by students studying in secondary education institutions established in the universe which was created by the sample group administered questionnaire in the city. The sample of the study consisted of 373 students (144 girls and 229 boys).Cronbach s alpha coefficient for data security analysis, sample analysis for frequency and percentage analysis was T.test, One Way ANOVA and post hoc Scheffe test and SSPS (Statistical Package for social Sciences) were analyzed using version 17.0 software package.When the survey results are analyzed; The lack of physical space in schools, the most widely used method of expression; it appears that the attendance of the students negatively. Because of problems such as the economic and official trips observation methods that allow very little applied, it was observed that they think science high school students passed out from the book s subject.
