  • Abstract
    In this study, R/C frame structures with structural irregularity are considered to investigate earthquake behavior of framed type structures. For analytical investigations, 10-story R/C frame structure was modeled and used. The 10-story R/C frame structure was analyzed according to 16 different types with various irregularities. The differences in earthquake behavior of the modeled 16 structures were investigated to determine the effects of structural irregularities. Nonlinear analyses were carried out to sketch pushover curves. From the pushover curves, story displacements, relative story displacements, maximum plastic rotations were determined. According to the analyses results, the effects of irregularities were compared with various graphs.
