Abstract
In nuclear structure physics, the neutron and proton single-particle levels of nuclei are very important to describe shell structure and many properties of nuclei. Also, the correct predictions of single-particle levels of nuclei can be understood as a validity test for phenomenological and microscopic nuclear models. In this work, single-particle energies of the double magic nuclei 48Ca, 132Sn and 208Pb have been calculated by using the relativistic mean field (RMF) model. The results of the study have been compared with various non-relativistic mean field models and founded as to be in good agreement with the experimental data.
