The Determination of Factors Affecting Satisfaction Rate with Public Health Services via Beta Regression

In recent years, the high budget projects and major revisions are performed in the health field. The extent of how these public expenditures are satisfied by society has been determined by the life satisfaction study conducted by TurkStat. TurkStat published the Satisfaction rates with public health services of people living in cities. In this study, it is aimed to determine indicators which affect the Satisfaction level from the public health services of people. Because the satisfaction levels of cities are in the interval (0,1), the using of ordinal least of squares is not proper. In the literature, the beta regression analysis is used for the regression models with the dependent variable which takes values as rate or percentage. Therefore, in this study, the beta regression analysis is used. In beta regression, it has been decided to which link function should use by using information criteria.
