Abstract
A greener, simple, mild, chemo-selective and highly efficient processes for the protection of various structurally and electronically diverse primary and secondary, aliphatic and aromatic hydroxyls compounds from their corresponding O-Boc derivatives promoted in ultrasound irradiation is developed. It is interesting that the irradiation of ultrasound can efficiently catalyst the reaction. This new technique consistently has the advantages of clean reaction, very short reaction times, highly yields and the absence of any solvent and catalyst.
