Abstract
This study was carried out in order to investigate the relationship between the variables of emotional labor job satisfaction and job stress, which the government officers constantly encounter in their professional life. Questionnaire forms with three point scales were prepared to be used in the study; and it was aimed to measure the above-mentioned variables with this questionnaire form. The study was carried out on the border unit personnel, who are employed in Konya province. Frequency analysis, t-test, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and path analysis were applied to the obtained data via program packets. As the result of the analyses that were applied during the study, it was found that emotional labor behavior affects job stress negatively, superficial behavior affects work stress positively, emotional labor behavior affects job satisfaction positively, superficial behavior affects job satisfaction positively.
