Abstract
It is costly and quite difficult to establish organizations. To eliminate these difficulties and to reduce the costs is depend upon the satisfaction of employees with their jobs. The purpose of motivation is; to provide employees work more efficiently and to increase their wishes and desires. To use stereotype motivational tools may not always provide positive performance. Therefore, we should offer different motivational tools according to the contemporary requirements and needs of the employees. Herzberg emphasizes the need of hygiene factors at work not to fall below a certain level. When it falls below a certain level it may cause the employee s get bored of job, their surroundings, business, their colleagues and superiors and also may cause absenteeism, illness and even leave the job. In this study, Herzberg s hygiene factors’ impact on the employees intends to leave the work was examined. For this purpose, in Muş 132 employees who work in the public and private sector in educational institutions were asked questions and their views were evaluated. Findings of this study showed that there is a negative and statistically significant relationship between Herzberg s hygiene factors and employees’ intention to leave of employment.
