Abstract
The main objective of this study is to investigate the effect of Storyline Method on enriching candidate teachers of social sciences with empathy skills and value of respecting to differences This experimental study was conducted on 20 students who took elective courses of teaching values among 3rd grade candidate teachers studying at the department of Social Sciences Teaching at Abant İzzet Baysal University in autumn period of 2015–2016 academic year. Empathic Skills Scale B-Form developed by Dökmen (1988) and Scale of Respect to Differences developed by Öksüz and Demir (2012) were applied as pretest-posttest. Data obtained within this scope was subjected to Man Whitney U test and Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test by using SPSS. 20 package software program.
