Abstract
The purpose of this research is to examine the attitudes of primary school teachers working in elementary schools regarding their guidance duties. For this purpose, it has been examined whether there is a difference in the attitudes and attitudes of the class counselors working in primary schools in situations where they perform guiding tasks according to socio-demographic characteristics. In the study, a screening model was used. The universe of the research is composed of teachers working in primary schools in the central province of Uşak and the sample is 112 primary school teachers working in these schools. Descriptive statistics, independent t tests and one way ANOVA were used in the analysis of the data. There was a significant difference in the point analysis according to the presence of the guidance teacher in the primary schools in which the primary school teachers worked. In addition, there was a significant difference when the results of the analysis were compared according to the number of times in-service training of primary teachers about guidance.
