Abstract
When the people living in the past and today are compared; it is seen that the persons living today have higher probability to use technological devices such as calculator, computer, to encounter various conditions such as numbers, graphics, surveys and to perform operations than the previous generations, due to the changing world and needs. The level of number sense and its significance has become a more important and attractive study item for people, by comparison to previous eras. In this study, it is aimed that a comparative examination of the sub-learning outcomes of numbers in secondary school mathematics education and 2009-2013-2017 curricula according to the number-sense components determined by Yang (1995) As a result of the qualitative analysis, how much domain is attributed to the learning outcomes considered to be related to the number sense, the change of importance attributed to the number sense and the learning outcomes of the number sense components in the curriculum and the comparative results of their distribution by years and classes have been reached.
