Abstract
Monolithic cascade solar cells offer an extremely promising method for high-efficiency photovoltaic energy conversion. Low-resistance electrical connection of the individual sub-cells is essential. Such electrical connection has been one of the major obstacles to the demonstration of high-efficiency monolithic multijunction cells.
