Abstract
A procedure is implemented using edge-type elements for the solution of frequency-domain electromagnetic field problems. It consists of a coupled simple-layer integral equation procedure for an interior-exterior problem where a homogeneous object is under external excitation. In addition, a hybrid finite-element procedure using vectors E or H as the state variable for efficiently handling interior homogeneities is given. Some representative results are presented
